At the end of 1581, the Citizens Regiment approved the foundation of a Carmelite Mothers’ House. This fact motivated St. Teresa to come to the city to put into operation the one that was supposed to be her last foundation.
This itinerary follows the footprints of the saint in Burgos. We will tour around the places that were used by Teresa and her nuns as residence, the chapel where they listened to the services and, of course, the Carmelite convent where today some relics of the saint are still conserved.
