Irrigated by the legendary Duero River, la Ribera in Burgos is a wine and gastronomy region with an interesting Historical Patrimony.
We invite you to travel in time to the era in which the Romans built in our lands one of the largest and most important towns in Roman Hispania: CLUNIA SULPICIA. We will admire its theatre, built for 9,000 spectators, its forum, the thermal baths with 7,000 square metres of public baths and the superb mosaics discovered in its noble houses.
Winding along vast vineyards, we will reach the town called Peñaranda de Duero, the Vid’s Monastery, St. Mary of Aranda de Duero’s Church and the convent compound in Caleruega, which evokes St. Domingo de Guzman.
